Did you see the new Occasions Catalog and the Sneak Peeks I’ve provided in previous posts?  Well, today is the day you can order them!!  No more waiting!  I still have quite a bit on my wish list from the catalog – what’s your number 1 must have?

I do have a project to share with you today featuring yet another stamp set in the Occasions catalog.  I also love this set – great for any occasion and especially great for making cards for the men in your life.  Don’t get me wrong – it is not exclusively just for guys – but it does well for those cards.  Here it is:

Aren’t those deer just adorable?  I decided to play along with the color challenge this week at Global Design Projects – #GDP017 which is to use Garden Green, Rose Red and Crumb Cake.  I was going for a Cherry Blossom look for my tree – not sure I achieved it – but I am pretty happy with how it turned out.  What do you think? Even with that touch of pink, I think it still works for a male birthday card (good thing, as I have 6 of them in my family that celebrate in February!).

And lastly, the winner of the Blog Hop candy is Phylis Sinclair! Congratulations Phylis!!  Enjoy your new Going Global stamp set and DSP stack!

Thanks for stopping today!

  1. Teresa – the deer and trees are perfect images for this color challenge – love your card! Such a great showcase of this new product. Thanks for playing along with this week’s Color Challenge at the Global Design Project.

  2. I love how you have used just two colours from the challenge as your focal colours and then the little pops of Rose Red for contrast. A great card for the guys. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project with us this week.

  3. These deer really are adorable. I love the simple scene you have set them in and the touch of Rose Red in the cherry blossoms is a great idea. Thanks for playing with Global Design Project.
