Hi! Today I have branched out of my comfort zone and played with a product I have not yet used. I know – hard to believe, right? But, have you checked out our Project Life suite? I recently received the All Year Long card set and accessory pack – it contains TONS of products and a coordinating stamp set!
So, I decided to try my hand at a few layouts following a tutorial I had from Ronda Wade. Here is my Spring layout – all ready for pictures!
I did do a little stamping – the sentiment (hard to see) under Spring and the suns in the lower left of the second page.
I had so much fun, I moved on to a Winter layout:
On this one, I stamped the snowflakes on the card in the lower right. I will continue to create a year of pages to make a mini 6×8 album that covers a year. I may just gift it this Christmas – all the recipient will need to do is add some journaling and some pictures.
Ok, so, as I said above, these kits have a TON of product. I also decided to make a few cards using some of the product. (Ronda was kind enough to include the tutorials for these as well).
First up – this gorgeous scenery card. I did NO stamping! Just added a bit of baker’s twine and trimmed down the 4×6 card from the kit.
I could see using this card for any occasion and/or for a male or female card. So versatile!
The second card I will probably use for a wedding card as I think it would work well – or maybe for an anniversary – or just to let someone know you love them.
On this one, I did add the punched out heart – it was not part of the suite – and the ribbon. Still – no stamping – and this makes use of 3 different card sizes included in the kit – a 4×4, a 2×4 and a 2×2.
So, have you tried the Project Life suite yet? If not – then I highly recommend you give it a try. Here are a few pictures of the cards and accessory pack for the All Year Long suite.
As I said – TONS of stuff!!
Hope you enjoyed today’s look into a Project Life suite!
Thanks for stopping by!
