Hi! How are you today? Hard to believe it is now September – and we are heading into my favorite season of the year. I love Fall – the crisp air, fresh apples and the changing leaves. Today’s card just warms my heart.
I went with the Sheltering Tree stamp set for today’s card – as it hasn’t seen any love in quite some time. Did you know that you can flip over the leaves stamp and ink the backside to get a fuller looking tree? That is what I did for my card as I felt the tree needed more than just the leaves. The back of stamp is inked in Crushed Curry, stamped off once on scrap paper then stamped on my card. The leaves were inked in Crushed Curry, then “thumped” with Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler markers. I really love how it turned out. The grass is inked in Garden Green and stamped off once on scrap before being stamped on the card.
To finish off the card, I used the new Garden Green Solid Baker’s Twine found in the Holiday Catalog and a Very Vanilla button.
Thanks for stopping by!
