Bear Hug

Today I am playing along in Kylie’s International Blog Highlight and our theme this month is Get Well.   What a wonderful way to cheer someone up when they are feeling down.  You are able to VOTE for my project. I had to take a look through my stamps to see what I had that would work – and came across this set that I hadn’t used since last year.  This little guy is just so cute and the sentiments in the set just perfect for sending someone a hug when they aren’t feeling well.  The bear is stamped in Chocolate Chip and then die cut using the coordinating framelits.  The sentiment is stamped in Calypso Coral.  I colored my Whisper White solid baker’s twine by dragging it through the Chocolate Chip ink and a sponge dauber.  You can still see some of the white – but I really like how it turned out.  The background paper is from the Subtles Designer Series Paper stack.  I decided to skew my card stock for a fun look.
