Hi! Did you have fun checking out all the great projects in Saturday’s Valentine hop? I hope so! But if you missed it, here’s my project.
Today, I have a beach scene I did at a workshop over the weekend using the Waterfront stamp set. They loved it! (And so did I!)
I do find I get a better look if I stamp one color, watercolor with the Aqua Painter before moving on to the next. For this card, we started with the mountains – stamped off once in Chocolate Chip, watercolor, then stamp the smaller mountain in Cajun Craze and watercolor. The sand is Sahara Sand (used the big mountain upside down) and just moved it over as I went down the side of my card. The water uses the same stamp as the sand, just reversed and stamped in Marina Mist ink. The mountain, sand and water were all watercolored. The trees, sun and birds were not. The sun is stamped in Crushed Curry. The trees in Chocolate Chip and Garden Green. The birds are from the High Tide stamp set and stamped in Chocolate Chip as well.
This truly is a fun set to play with. I created a Mountain and Lake scene and showed how to do the watercoloring on my Tuesday’s with Teresa Facebook Live video January 16th. You will find it on this page.
If you love painting – but don’t always have time to do it – this is a great alternative and an awesome set to use for it! You’ll find it in my on-line store here.
Don’t forget, we are still celebrating Stampin’ Up!’s favorite time of the year with Sale-A-Bration! I’ve already had one hostess take advantage of getting the starter kit for very little money by applying her hostess benefits toward the cost of the kit. I believe she paid around $30 for almost $200 worth of Stampin’ Up! goodness!! Guess what! YOU can do the same!! Contact me for the details!
Or – you can shop my on-line store and for every $50 (US, prior to S/H and tax) pick out a FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog! All orders over $50 also get this tutorial when you use this hostess code 7HSFZ3GP :
Thanks so much for spending a part of your day with me! I so appreciate YOU!
