Hi! Today I have a card that I demonstrated on this past Tuesday’s with Teresa Facebook Live. The theme was masking using Die Cuts.
I created a mask using an Oval Framelit and a piece of the white cardboard that is in the back of the Designer Series Packs of paper. Then I lay that over my Whisper White cardstock and sponged my background using Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive ink pads.
The flowers are from Wild About Flowers and stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink. The sentiment is from Heartfelt Blooms which is a Sale-A-Bration set which you can earn FREE by shopping in my on-line store. But hurry! This special ends March 31st and the set will no longer be available!
This stamped panel is mounted a piece of Basic Black cardstock. Here are the dimensions for each layer:
- Whisper White stamped panel – 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Basic Black panel – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Thick Whisper White Base – 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
This is a simple technique with stunning results. To see the video, head over to my Facebook page and click Videos on the left hand side. It will be the video labeled: Tuesday’s with Teresa – Die Cut Masks.
As mentioned above, March 31st is the last day to take advantage of Sale-A-Bration! So shop my on-line store and get your FREE goodies today! Use Hostess Code: BC4G7PJT and get this tutorial FREE as well through March 31!
Thanks for stopping by today!
