Hi! Welcome to the March International Project Highlight Winner’s Blog Hop! Thank you so much for voting for me in March’s Highlight! I made the Top 10 and am able to participate in this month’s Blog Hop!
Our theme is Love and here is the card I made for today:
Since my winning card was for a wedding, I decided to continue on to an Anniversary! I wanted warm colors for this card – so used Very Vanilla for the base – 4 1/4 x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ and the embossed panel. The embossing is done with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder and the panel measures 4 x 5 1/4″.
Linen thread is wrapped around the panel. The hearts are die cut with the Sweet and Sassy Framelits and the edges are sponged with Blushing Bride ink. A few little pearls are placed along the edge of the heart.
The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes – a must have in anyone’s collection – and is stamped in Blushing Bride ink. This is punched out with the Classic Label punch. It is layered on a Crumb Cake Classic Label punch that was cut in half and attached to the back to provide the edging at the end.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Make sure you hop over to check out the rest of the winner’s posts!
Thanks for stopping by!

Such a pretty card. Love that embossing folder.
Thanks! It was the first time I used it – not sure why I waited so long.
What a sweet card. The sponging around the hearts is just perfect!
Thank you! You should see how many sponged hearts I did before I hit on Blushing Bride.
I love it so sweet and simple but looks like a lot of work. Great job again
You have created a beautiful CAS card, in my opinion! I agree with Dianne…the sponging on the hearts is perfection!!
What a simple and beautiful card! Love it!
Thank you Michelle!
Pretty, delicate card Teresa. And the embossing folder adds just the right amount of detail to your CAS card.
Your loads of texture are great, Teresa!
Thank you Jenny!
So simple and effective!! I love it!
Lovely card Terresa. Great contrast with the embossed background and sponged hearts
