Hi! I am back today with one more card featuring the Touches of Texture Stamp Set and I AM IN LOVE!!! I loved it so much, I made 6 of them!
In the last two posts featuring this set, I showed how to use the stamps to color the flowers. In this set, I used a Blender Pen and ink pads to color them and love the soft look this gave the flowers:
To me, it looks like I painted the flowers. I chose to go back to the first card’s background for this one and add the flecking using a Crumb Cake marker and then running the piece through the Big Shot with the Subtle Dynamic Embossing Folder.
To finish it off, I used two strips of Designer Series Paper from the Country Lane DSP Pack (this will be available tomorrow when the Holiday Catalog goes live!) A 1/4″ strip of Blackberry Bliss runs across the top of the 2 layers of Designer Series Paper.
Here’s the card in full detail:
I think this is such a pretty note card set. I could easily add a sentiment if need be, but I thought a set of note cards that could be used for anything would be best.
What do you think? Do you love it as much as I do? I don’t typically make multiples of a card – so you can tell how much I loved this one that I went and made six!
Stay tuned – tomorrow the Holiday Catalog goes LIVE!! And, you can now redeem those Bonus Day coupons you earned last month!
Thanks for stopping by!
