Broadway Bound Birthday

Hi!  A few quick cards with the Broadway Bound Designer Series Paper for you today:

Birthday, Broadway Bound, Around the Corner, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #simplestamping

This is a very quick card and is for Stampin’ Up!’s #simplestamping featuring Birthday cards.  The Designer Series Paper is from the Broadway Bound Designer Series Pack and features gold foil elements on the sheets.  The stamp is from the set Around the Corner – for something a little different.

The Designer Series Paper measuring 4″ x 2 1/2″ is matted to a piece of Basic Black Cardstock measuring 4 1/8″ x 2 5/8″.

The base is our Thick Whisper White.

Here is another card using a different piece from the Broadway Bound pack:

Broadway Bound, Birthday, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #simplestamping

So many different looks you can achieve with this pack of paper!  For this one, I went with the Lovely Lipstick ink for the sentiment which is from Perennial Birthday.   A few added pieces behind the sentiment to dress up the card using a Triple Banner Punch.

If you haven’t checked out the Broadway Bound suite, maybe this will give you inspiration to try it!

The One That Got Away?

Hi!  Today I am sharing the card I made during last week’s Facebook Live using the Best Catch bundle in the Occasions Catalog.

Fishing, Masculine, Best Catch, #2019Occasions, Stampin' Up!, SU!, Birthday

I am so happy with how the fish turned out.  I used an aqua painter and Old Olive and Crushed Curry ink to color the fish and then applied liquid glue using the Fine Tip Glue Pen to cover him. – here’s a better view:

Best Catch, Fishing, Masculine, #2019Occasions, Stampin' Up!, SU!

For the background on the card, I stamped the Crackle Paint Stamp set in Old Olive ink on Whisper White.  The cattails were die cut from the coordinating framelits from Old Olive Cardstock.  The Rectangle frame uses the new Stitched Rectangle Framelits in the Occasions Catalog as well.  I just layered two together and ran through the Big Shot once to make the frame.  Very easy and I love the stitching on it!  The sentiment is from the Piece Of Cake stamp set.

Here is the video – it is the second card:

What do you think?  Do you have fishermen on your friends and family list?  This would be a great bundle to use for birthday, Father’s Day or even Thank You!

I hope you enjoyed today’s project!

Coffee & Friends

Hi!  How are you today?  I hope doing well!  I had some time this weekend to play a little and came up with this card featuring the Coffee Cafe Stamp Set.

Coffee, Friendship, Coffee Cafe, Stampin' Up!, SU!

I am not a coffee drinker – I prefer tea, but so many of my friends and family are coffee drinkers that I thought it was time to use this set.

The coffee cup and coffee cup rings are stamped in Early Espresso.  I did place the Whisper White layer directly on top of the Crumb Cake card base before stamping the coffee cup rings from the Timeless Textures stamp set so that the rings would carry through to the base.  I then placed a layer of Blueberry Bushel in between the two layers for a bit of a pop of color.

The Coffee Cup and sentiment were stamped using the Stamparatus – such a great tool to use to align stamps and for mass production.  The Sentiment is stamped in Blueberry Bushel.

The coordinating framelits – Coffee Cups were used to die cut the cup and lid.  Dimensionals were used to pop the lid.

A pretty simple card, but so fitting for so many people in my life!

Beauty Abounds

Hi!  Today I have a card featuring the Beauty Abounds stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.  This set is so pretty!

Friendship, Beauty Abounds, Butterflies, Stampin' Up!, SU!, 2019Occasions

I stamped the flourish in StaZOn Jet Black ink along the right hand side as well as along the bottom.  The flowers were colored with Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo while the leaves were colored with Soft Seafoam and Pear Pizzazz.   The butterflies are colored in Flirty Flamingo.

The sentiment is stamped in Flirty Flamingo and punched with the 1 3/4″ circle punch.  This is layered on a 2″ Circle of Pear Pizzazz.   A butterfly element from the Sale-A-Bration catalog  is colored on the edges with a Crumb Cake marker and attached using a glue dot.  These wooden elements are a FREE choice during Sale-A-Bration where a $50 (US, prior to S/H and tax) earns you a FREE product!

The base for the card is Soft Sea Foam and measures 4 1/4″ x 11″ – scored at 5 1/2″.  The mat is Pear Pizzazz and measures 4″ x 5 1/4″.  The Whisper White panel measures 3 3/4″ x 5″.

Wild About You Valentine

Hi!  Today I have another Valentine featuring the Animal Outing Bundle.  Yes, I know, I’ve shared others – but this one is so cute, I couldn’t resist!

Valentine, Animal Outing, Stampin' Up!, SU!

How can you resist these adorable images?  Over the weekend, I had decided to do something with a bunch of projects I had started and never finished.  In the pile were a bunch of rhinos, giraffes and trees.  I believe I had planned on using them for thank you cards, but never got to it.  I also had one of these hearts but in a different color from another project and thought – hmm, I think these pieces would make a cute Valentine.

So, here is my final creation.  In the end, I made 13 of these Valentines – 12 of which I sent to a friend.

The sentiment is also from the Animal Outing stamp set.  I used Stampin’ Blends to color the animals.  The heart die cut is from the Sunshine Wishes framelits set – and something I recently pulled out for the first time.  So nice to finally use products that had been sitting unused!

All in all, I am happy with this card and happy to have used up the pieces I had sitting around.  Feeling very accomplished!

I hope you enjoyed today’s card.  You will find all the products listed below and in my on-line store.  Don’t forget, we are still Sale-A-Brating and a $50 (US, prior to S/H and tax) earns you a FREE product from the Sale-A-Bration brochure!

Team Stamp It – Valentine Hop

Hi! Today I am excited to be participating in the Team Stamp It Valentine’s Blog Hop!

I just love this little treat holder and think it is perfect for anyone!

Valentines, Treat Holder, Envelope Punch Board, Hedgehugs, Stampin' Up!, SU! Stampithop

He is carrying 5 Hershey Nuggets inside his pouch.  The original idea for a single nugget was created by Dawn Griffith and this 5 nugget version was designed by Deseree Krumm.

It is quick and easy to make using the Envelope Punch Board.

Cut your All My Love Designer Series Paper at 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″.

Line up one side at the 2″ mark on the punch board, punch and score.  Rotate the paper counterclockwise, and line up the score line with the little notch on the punch board to the left of the opening.  Punch and score.  Repeat the rotation and score for the remaining sides -always aligning the score line to the notch.

Here is my video – it is the second project – showing how to make this using the punch board.

Side note – if you liked the first project, you’ll  find details on it here.

The image is stamped from the Hedgehugs Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink.  The sentiment is from the exclusive stamp set in the January Paper Pumpkin and is stamped in Real Red ink.  A little heart is placed over the flower and was punched with the Cookie Cutter Builder punch from Real Red Cardstock.

Leave a comment below with #stampitcontest and be entered to win this great prize!

Congratulations to last month’s winner!

Make sure you check out the rest of the projects!
