Today, I am sharing a card using the Encircled in Friendship stamp set with the gorgeous Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper that you can earn FREE with a $50 purchase (prior to S/H and tax) by Sept 30.
The Beautifully Penned paper is all Black and White and gorgeous patterns. You can add a touch of color to this paper in many ways:
For my card, I kept it as is and added a touch of color by using Water Color pencils on the flowers. I love how this card turned out and used it for my September #makeacardsendacard. If you aren’t familiar with this, once a month on my Facebook Page I ask folks who could use some happy mail to send me a private message with their address and I’d get one out to them. The sentiment is stamped in Jet Black StaZon – same as the flowers. I used the Layering Circle dies to die cut the sentiment and the Basic Black mat.
The base is Thick Basic White – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and folded. The designer series paper measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. Basic White is used for the coordinating stamped layer – I did die cut before stamping and used the die to align the stamp in my Stamparatus and then rotated the die cut 4 times to stamp the flower image.
The Matte Black Dots were the perfect touch to finish the card.
