Hi! Last night I held my annual Gift class where attendees made 4 gifts for the upcoming holidays. This was one of the favorites from the class:
Is this not just the sweetest? Thanks to Dawn Griffin for her video on how to make these.
For my version, I used Very Vanilla for my base and the snowflake sheet from This Christmas Designer Series Paper pack. I used the Classic Label punch to create my window. The sentiment is from the Oh, What Fun! stamp set. A little Real Red ribbon, and there you go.
Did you notice the little notch in top? You can slide a Gift Card into the opening!
These are pretty easy to make, too! I’ll be making more as I think these are perfect for bus drivers, teachers, the mail man and of course the UPS person who delivers my Stampin’ Up! goodies!
I hope you’ll give these cute boxes a try!
Thanks for stopping by!
PS – Don’t forget about the Year End Closeout Sale! You’ll find tons of great deals in my on-line store.
Hi! How are you today? I’m doing pretty good! Today I have a set of cards for you featuring the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper! This is one of the packs that you can get as part of the Buy 3, Get 1 FREE! promotion Stampin’ Up! is having this month! How awesome is that!
So, here we go! First – here is the set I made over the weekend:
All different kinds of cards you can make – tho I made mine all birthday because I have lots of birthdays to celebrate this month!
How about a closer look at each card?
In this card, I used the flower paper as my focal point and added a pop of color by using Real Red with it. The sentiment is from Cottage Greetings.
For my next card, I went with the layout from my previous post so I could use some of the scraps I had laying around. I added a few gold sequins around my sentiment. The sentiment is from Balloon Celebrations.
For my next card, I paired Melon Mambo. I really love how this card turned out. The sentiment is also from Flourishing Phrases. The embellishment here is the bakers twine – twisted and tucked behind the flower as well as a White Perfect Accent – these enamel dots are great for flower centers.
And lastly, you don’t have to make just floral cards with this paper – here is a birthday card that uses the fun stripes in this pack:
In this card, I used Cucumber Crush as my accent color and punched balloons! A fun card without the fancy! I do have a few men with birthdays this month as well – and it was great to be able to use the same designer series paper pack that was already out to make all my cards.
I am also working on a small box and some note cards using this paper – but unfortunately didn’t have time to finish those for this post.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card set featuring the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper. A big thanks to Ronda Wade and Stampin’ Up! for the inspiration.
Here are the other Designer Series Papers included in this month’s Buy 3, Get 1 FREE promotion:

Welcome to the Team Stamp It New Catalog Blog Hop! I hope you have enjoyed the creations you have seen so far!
For today’s hop, I decided to use the Swirly Bird bundle! I know I have shown you some other cards and projects made with this set, but today I decided to go more elegant. (Just to show you how versatile this bundle truly is!)
First, here is the box I made using the directions from CraftyCarolineCreates youtube video which can be found here. This box holds a little gift set – cards, 3×3 notes, and tags.
Here is my inside view:
There are three pockets – one holds 4 regular A2 sized cards (those are in the back) with envelopes, and the two front pockets hold 4 3×3 notes with envelopes (on the left) and 4 tags (on the right).
Here is a picture of what is in each pocket:
The sentiments are from Rose Wonder (Happy Birthday) and Flourishing Phrases (Just a Note).
My colors are from the 2015-17 In Color Family – Tip Top Taupe, Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder. I love how this turned out! What do you think?

Hope you enjoyed my project! Hop on to the next in the list for more great ideas!
Hi! I first saw these cute holders posted by Liz Miller. When I checked out her blog post, she thanked Carrie for the idea and tutorial. So – thank you both Liz and Carrie! These are perfect for end of the year teacher gifts! You can find Liz’s creation here, and Carrie’s video tutorial here.
As these are gifts for teachers, I did use retired Designer Series Paper on one of them and then the family (Subtles and Brights) Designer Series Paper Stack for the other three – but you can always switch out your favorite! I forgot to snap a picture, but there is a little pocket on the back side of the holder that will fit a gift card.
Here are a few more:
I did use the new Thoughtful Banners stamp set and coordinating punch for the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi! Thanks for sticking with me through four posts of One Sheet Wonder. I did have fun making all these cards and think the final set would make a wonderful gift. At a minimum, I have built up my card stash for the new year! My Tin of Cards is now full!
Today I have the final three cards as well as the cut map I used for my 12×12 Designer Paper and a picture of all 12 cards.
First up, this Hello card. I did add another designer paper to this card, the polka dot paper is from the Subtles Designer Paper stack – I truly LOVE color family paper stacks – they give you every color in the family and the patterns can be used for just about any project. The sentiment is taken from the Tin of Cards stamp set. The flower is made using the Botanical Bloom framelits and the center of the flower is accented with a sparkling enamel dot from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit.
Next up, this cute little Just Because card. Hard to see in this picture, but I added a sequin and a rhinestone to the blue flowers nearest the center of each square. It adds just a little interest to the Designer Paper and the card overall. I embossed the background using the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder (which is retired). The sentiment is from the Tin of Cards, punched out with the Washi Label punch and popped up on a large oval.
And finally, the last card. Have I mentioned that I like pockets? This is a cute little pocket on the front of the card that holds our sentiment. A little tag adorned with ribbon and one of the 2015-2017 In Color flowers. Once again I used a piece of the designer paper from the Subtles paper stack and a sentiment from Tin of Cards.
There you have it – the last of the One Sheet Wonder cards. Here is the cutting map that I used for my 12×12 piece of Designer Series Paper:
And lastly, a complete picture of all my cards in order from 1-12 following the pieces on the map above:
Hopefully from the last two pictures, you can get an idea of what I did. If you need any more information or clarification, please ask!
So, what do you think? Are you glad you stayed with me over the past two weeks?
Thanks for stopping by!
I am in LOVE!! The Snow Place bundle is my favorite bundle in the holiday catalog. These guys are just so cute! And the penguin? Adorable!! Love all the little accessory pieces. Yes – a little more work – but well worth it! This little set features a Twisted Fold gift card holder (on the left) and a Hershey Nugget snowman. I can see making more of these for teachers, the bus driver, friends, co-workers, and the list goes on. The nice thing about the Twisted Fold card – it will fit in a regular envelope! What a great way to send a gift card to a friend or family. For the nugget snowman, the hat and scarf are attached on the outside of the cellophane bag – making it easier to fit in the bag! The face on the nugget is from the large snowman -just use a marker to color in the face and stamp on your card stock. The nuggets are covered with 1″ x 3″ strips of Whisper White card stock. (Stamp your snowman details before you wrap the paper around the nugget).
