For The Coffee Lovers

Hi!  Today I have a card for the coffee lovers out there.  One of the first bundles I purchased from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog was the Nothing’s Better Than bundle.  This is such a great bundle and sparks so many ideas.  Coffee, Love, Nothings Better Than, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #2020AnnualCatalog

This would make a great Valentine’s Day card!  The heart background is made using Pool Party Cardstock and the Detailed Hearts die.  The words are die cut from Blushing Bride, Petal Pink, Rococo Rose and Early Espresso Cardstock.   The cup is stamped in Blushing Bride and Early Espresso inks.  The splats are Pool Party.  A layer of Pool Party Designer Series Paper is placed behind the Basic White stamped image panel.  The base of the card is Early Espresso.

I am not a coffee drinker -but I do love chocolate – so for my Valentine’s Day card, I believe I’ll switch it up using the chocolate image in this bundle.  What about you?  Coffee or chocolate lover?

The purchase of the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle and Detailed Hearts die together earns you a FREE Sale-A-Bration item!   Shop today to take advantage of this great deal!

More Silhouette Fun

Hi!  I am back today with another card featuring the Silhouette Scenes bundle!

Silhouette Scenes, Sponging, Love, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #2019AnnualCatalog

The background for this card was creating using a mask.  I tend to make my masks using the white cardboard that comes in the Designer Series Paper packs.  I cut the mask to the size of my card front  in this case 3 3/4″ x 5″.  I then die cut a hole using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits (or any other shape you’d like).

The colors used for the background, starting at the bottom, are Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point and Night of Navy.  These are sponged onto the cardstock once the mask is in place.      I then sprinkled a few water drops  on the sponged area and dabbed with a paper towel.

The couple and sentiment are stamped with Jet Black StaZon.

The image panel measures 3 3/4″ x 5.  This is mounted on Basic Black cardstock measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″.  The base is Pacific Point cardstock measuring 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and folded.

If you’d like to see how this card was made, check out the video in this post.

I Hear

Wedding Bells!  I saw a card by Lori Mueller using the bell in the Blended Seasons bundle as a wedding bell and thought “Genius!”    I love how versatile this bundle has turned out to be!  If you haven’t gotten it yet – now is the time as this bundle is only available until August 31st.  Order HERE!

Ok, so here is my wedding card:

Wedding, Blended Seasons, Stampin' Up!, SU!

What do you think?  For the bell, I colored with Stampin’ Blends Rich Razzleberry and Daffodil Delight.   The Designer Series Paper on the left is from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.

I love the front cut on this card.  I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock, scored at 5 1/2″ and then trimmed off 3″ from the front.  I turned this piece sideways and used it for a front flap.  Very cute, right?

The Basic Black mats measure 2 1/4″ x 4″ for the mat beneath the Designer Series Paper and 2 3/4″ x 4″ for the front flap.  The Designer Series Paper measures 2″ x 3 3/4″ and the Whisper White panel measures 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″.

I did include a piece of Whisper White for the inside of the card – this measures 4″ x 5 1/4″.  It helps frame the front panel as well.

Just a reminder that August 31 is also the last day to get your Watercolor Pencils Assortment #2.  You’ll find those here.

And, finally, August 31 also marks the end of the Bonus Day Coupon earning period.  For every $50 (US, prior to S/H and tax) you spend, you get a $5 coupon to redeem in September.  There is NO LIMIT to the number of coupons you can earn!!

It’s All About Love

Hi!  Welcome to the March International Project Highlight Winner’s Blog Hop!  Thank you so much for voting for me in March’s Highlight!  I made the Top 10 and am able to participate in this month’s Blog Hop!

Our theme is Love and here is the card I made for today:

Anniversary, Love, Garden Trellis, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Sweet & Sassy, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #internatiionalprojecthighlights

Since my winning card was for a wedding, I decided to continue on to an Anniversary!  I wanted warm colors for this card – so used Very Vanilla for the base – 4 1/4 x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″  and the embossed panel.  The embossing is done with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder and the panel measures 4 x 5 1/4″.

Linen thread is wrapped around the panel.  The hearts are die cut with the Sweet and Sassy Framelits and the edges are sponged with Blushing Bride ink.  A few little pearls are placed along the edge of the heart.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes – a must have in anyone’s collection – and is stamped in Blushing Bride ink.  This is punched out with the Classic Label punch.   It is layered on a Crumb Cake Classic Label punch that was cut in half and attached to the back to provide the edging at the end.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card.  Make sure you hop over to check out the rest of the winner’s posts!

Time for Love

Hi!  Today I am participating in Kylie’s International Blog Highlights!  Our theme this month is LOVE and I am also continuing my series on the Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper!

I’d love your vote on my card!  You can vote here.

Wedding, Love, Springtime Foils, Rose Wonder, 2018SaleABration, Stampin' Up!, SU!

The Springtime Foil paper is so elegant all on its own!  I decided to use two of the sheets to make this Wedding card.  No altering of the paper needed – just perfect and elegant all on its own.  For this card, I chose to use the silver stripes and the Silver and Gold leaf prints.  The dimensions are 3 3/4″ x 3″ for the leaf print and 3 3/4″ x 2″ for the stripes.  A piece of the Silver Trimmed ribbon balances the two different papers.  I paired the Rose Wonder stamp set and coordinating dies from the Annual Catalog to complete the card.  The sentiment and border is stamped in Basic Black Archival ink and die cut with the coordinating framelit.  The leaves are die cut in Old Olive.  It’s a little hard to make out in the picture, but the leaves are covered in Clear Wink of Stella to give it a little glimmer as well.

The Designer Series  Paper is layered on Basic Black card stock that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″.  The base is Thick Whisper White and measure 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.   This could easily be changed into a 25th Wedding Anniversary card by changing out the sentiment.

I love the simplicity and elegance of this card and paper.

The Springtime Foil Designer Series Paper is one of the choices you can earn for FREE with a $50 (US, prior to S/H and tax).   Just place your order in my on-line store here.   Each $50 increment gets you a FREE product!  But hurry as there isn’t much time left!   Use Hostess Code 9PSW36TE and you’ll also receive this FREE tutorial!

Hedgie Love

international-project-highlights-event

Hi! Today I am playing along in the International Project Highlights and our theme is Love.  I happen to adore these cuties from the Love You Lots Hostess set:

SU! Love You Lots, Made with Love

This is perfect for any time of year and for anyone you want to remind that you love them.  As Thanksgiving approaches here in the US in a few days, it is a good time to remind someone that you love them.

For my card, I stamped the Hedgehogs in Chocolate Chip Ink then colored the flower with Garden Green and Real Red markers.  I decided to add the little Real Red Enamel heart embellishment as I felt it very fitting.  This panel is matted on Real Red.  Behind that is a skewed piece of Chocolate Chip Designer Series Paper.   Do you see the word “love” in the upper right and lower left?  Too much?  The sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip as well and I decided to add the little heart from the Made With Love stamp to finish it off.

I hope you will check out all these other great projects from Demonstrators around the world!

Sneak Peek!

Good morning!  Today I have a sneak peek for you as my pre-order from the Occasions catalog came yesterday and I couldn’t resist using some of the goodies I got!

BloomingHeart_small

This card uses products from the Love Blossoms Suite.  In this card, I used the Bloomin’ Love stamp set, Blushing Bride glimmer paper and the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper stack. (These products will be available to order on January 5, 2016) Paired it with the Blushing Bride Cotton Ribbon and some sequins from the Blushing Bride Sequin trim and there you have it.  A little bit of sparkle to brighten anyone’s day.  The sentiment is from the Six Sayings hostess set found in the Holiday Catalog – you still have time to get this set with a $150 order or host a catalog party before January 4th!

I also designed this card using the Global Design Projects Sketch for this week’s challenge – #GDP014  Such a pretty sketch that can be used to inspire so many different types of cards.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you enjoy a little sparkle in your day!

Teresa
