Hi! I am participating today in Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlight featuring Thank You cards using Stampin’ Up! products. I hope you can take the time to check out the other entries and vote for your favorite! My card is #22 and I’d love your vote!
I am making these cards to send to my neighbors who participated in the American Heart Associations Neighborhood Drive.
For my card, I decided to use the watercolor wash technique – very easy to do and I love the results! Using your aquapainter, pick up some Blushing Bride ink (place a few drops on the inside lid of your Blushing Bride ink pad), and brush it over the watercolor paper. You can add more color as you go down the card stock. Keep repeating until you have the results you desire. Let dry before stamping your image. The heart is from the Bloomin’ Love set in the Occasions Catalog and stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink. The sentiment and banner are from Endless Thanks. I just love that font! I added some bling by running strips of Blushing Bride glimmer paper (also in the Occasions Catalog) down the sides and die cutting the flowers from the same glimmer paper using the Bloomin’ Heart thinlets.
Thanks for checking out my card!
Teresa
