Hi! Welcome to Wednesday! Today I am playing along with the Global Design Project challenge #GDP031 – Nature Theme card.
I went with the World of Dreams stamp set – just love those images and they are perfect for this challenge. Spring is slowly making an appearance – well, she made one then left for a bit when Mother Nature decided to drop snow on us again last week. But, as I type this, I hear the birds chirping and the sun shining. We have had a nest a few times in a tree by our porch and it is fun to watch the little ones hatch and grow. I am hoping we get some again this year. Anyway, I colored my image with my markers – colors are Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Island Indigo and Old Olive. I used the Lots of Labels thinlets to cut it out. The background is the Hardwood stamp inked in Crumb Cake and stamped on a Crumb Cake layer. The sentiment is die cut using the Greetings thinlets. I actually cut two and glued them together to give a little dimension to it. A button and linen thread finish it off.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card!

So sweet, Teresa! I love these birds – and they look lovely against this woodgrain background. Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Global Design Project Nature Theme Challenge.
I love birds. We have loads of feeders and bird houses. This card is so cute! Thank-you for playing along with the Global Design Project – Krista (from Canada).
