It’s A Holly Christmas!

Hi!  Back today with another Christmas Card!

For this one, I used the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set in the Annual Catalog.  I stamped the holly in Memento Black Ink and used the new Stampin’ Blends in Old Olive to color the leaves.  These markers are fun to play with!  The berries and Sentiment are stamped in Cherry Cobbler.

I used the Layering Circles and coordinating Stitched Shapes for the stamped image and Cherry Cobbler mat.  Behind the panel are two strips of Design Series Paper – the Cherry Cobbler piece from the Be Merry pack, and the Old Olive from the

I kept the card Clean and Simple (CAS) to make it easy to mass produce.

Flurry Wishes

Hi!  I am so sorry for being absent from my blog for most of November.  I ended up catching a nasty virus that put me down for over two weeks.  I am doing much better and hopefully back in the saddle!

I did a Facebook LIVE for this card back in early November – right before I got sick – and never got around to posting it here.  So, I’ll kick off with this quick and easy Christmas card.

If you’d like to see how I made this card, then hop on over to my Facebook page and check out my video on November 7.

The stamp set used for this card is Flurry Of Wishes.  The snowflakes are stamped in Pool Party and Smoky Slate.  The sentiment is stamped in Basic Gray.  I colored the Rhinestones with the Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends.   The stamped panel is layered on a Smoky Slate layer.  A piece of Pool Party Shimmer ribbon is tied around the base.  The matted stamped panel is attached to the base using dimensionals.

This card is quick and easy to mass produce if you are still looking for a Christmas Card design for this year.

For the snowman, I used Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist for the mittens and scarf and the holly and band on the hat.  The bunny is colored in Crumb Cake.  The hat is Basic Gray and his nose is Pumpkin Pie.  He is layered on a Circle cut from the Layering Circles  stamp set in Whisper White which was then run through the Big Shot with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  This is placed on a Lemon Lime Scallop Circle from the Layering Circles as well.   The ribbon is Lemon Lime Twist 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon.

Gift Bags, Seasonal Chums, DSP, Foil Frenzy, Stampin' Up!, SU!

The reindeer is stamped on Crumb Cake card stock (less coloring!).  His nose, spots, hooves and antlers are colored with a Chocolate Chip Marker.  His ears are colored in Pink Pirouette.  The bow is Soft Sky, the bell Crushed Curry.  I then colored the bell with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter pen.  He is popped up on a Whisper White circle die cut with the Layering Circles Framelits and this is placed on a Soft Sky Scallop from the same die set.  The ribbon is Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon.

I can’t wait to show guests how to make these bags!

Introducing Stampin’ Blends!

Hi!  Today is the day!! Stampin’ Blends are now available for YOU to purchase!  I finally had a chance to play with mine – what fun!

Stampin' Blends, Color Me Happy, Project Kit, Stampin' Up!, SU!

This card is made with the Color Me Happy stamp set and coordinating Color Me Happy Project Kit.  You can purchase the two together and SAVE!!  Please note the Color Me Happy stamp set and coordinating Project Kit are while supplies last!!!

For Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Up! has released 12 colors – there is both a light and a dark of each of the 12 colors.  You can purchase each marker seperately, or purchase a combo pack containing both the light and dark.  There are also Ivory, Bronze and Color Lifter markers.  To check out all the products, simply click on the Stampin’ Blends brochure in the right hand sidebar.

For my particular version of this card, I used the Pink Pirouette and Rich Razzleberry combo markers as well as the Dark Daffodil Delight.  It was fun blending the colors to create my look – and I love that there are no streaks!!

You will need the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad to stamp your images so that you do not get bleeding of the black ink.  You will find these new markers, stamp set and project kit in my On-Line store.

I hope you will give them a try and let me know what you think!
