A Snowman Treat

Hi!  Today I have an adorable little snowman to share with you.  We will be making these at tomorrow night’s Gifts Class!  I am super excited for my last class of the year!

Christmas, Gift Bag, Snowman, Gift Bag Punch Board, Punches, Stampin' Up!, SU!

Isn’t he just adorable?  The box  is made with the Thick Whisper White card stock and the Gift Bag punch board.  I did a small size – and started with a 4 1/4″ x 10″ piece and followed the directions on the punch board for making the small board.  I did not punch the holes – as  I was not planning on adding handles.

The mouth is punched from the Cookie Cutter builder punch and eyes are punched with the 1/2″ circle punches.  The nose was hand cut from Pumpkin Pie card stock.  A White Chalk Marker was used for the eyes.

The hat itself uses two retired punches.  The holly on the hat is created with the Holly Builder punch.  Watercolor pencils were used to draw the lines on the leaves and on the nose.  A piece of Real Red cardstock was used for the band on the hat.

Here are the contents in the bag:

Gifts, Christmas, Treat Holder, Gift Bag Punch Board, Punches, Stampin' Up!, SU!

A pack of tissues, a lip balm and a mini hand sanitizer.   This would make a cute gift for coworkers and neighbors or even kids.  They are pretty quick to make as well.   You could also switch out the personal care items and fill with chocolates or a few coffee pods and a gift card.

If you don’t have the punches for the face, you could stamp a face using the Work of Art stamp set similar to what is seen on this card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post!  Leave a comment if you did!  I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks for stopping by!
