Introducing 2020-2021 Suite Shares!!

I am so excited to offer Suite Shares of the new Suites in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog!

What is a suite share?  It is a sample of the products that come in a Suite so that you can get a taste of the products before investing in the full package.  Each suite will contain products such as Designer Series Paper, ribbon, embellishments and coordinating card stock!!  There are 10 different suite shares to choose from!

Simply fill out this form with the Shares you’d like and I’ll send a Paypal invoice.  I will combine bundles to reduce shipping costs or if you are local, you can do a porch pick-up!

Products will be ordered by June 4th and shares will be mailed out as quickly as possible once products arrive and shares sorted.   I do need a minimum of 4 people to participate in a share to place the order.  I will invoice as soon as a suite share has reached 4 people.

A Happy Soul

Hi!  Today I am sharing a card using the retiring Pigment Sprinkles and the retiring Tasteful Textures bundle.  I am sad to see both of these products leave as they make beautiful cards.

Happy, Flowers, Watercolor, Pigment Sprinkles, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #2019AnnualCatalog, Tasteful Textures, Tasteful Backgrounds

The background is created using the Gorgeous Grape and Melon Mambo Pigment sprinkles, Fluid 100 Watercolor paper and a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with water.  The fun thing about using these sprinkles, every background you create will be different – even when using the same products.   There is a video at the end of this post that shows you how it is created.

Once your watercolor paper has dried, die cut it with the largest Stitched Circle die.  While you are at, cut one from Whisper White card stock as well.  Before putting your die cutting machine aside, take the Whisper White circle, and run it through with the petal die from the Tasteful Backgrounds coordinating die set.

Using the same watercolor paper, punch the leaves and flowers and set aside.

Using a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Whisper White card stock, stamp your sentiment in the lower right corner with Gray Granite ink (this has become my new favorite neutral).  Also, use the lined stamp from the Tasteful Textures stamp set and stamp on the top where the circle will go.  This adds just a little something around the circle and brings in the neutral of the sentiment.

The base is a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and folded.

Here’s the video on creating the background and flowers and putting the card together.

More Silhouette Fun

Hi!  I am back today with another card featuring the Silhouette Scenes bundle!

Silhouette Scenes, Sponging, Love, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #2019AnnualCatalog

The background for this card was creating using a mask.  I tend to make my masks using the white cardboard that comes in the Designer Series Paper packs.  I cut the mask to the size of my card front  in this case 3 3/4″ x 5″.  I then die cut a hole using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits (or any other shape you’d like).

The colors used for the background, starting at the bottom, are Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point and Night of Navy.  These are sponged onto the cardstock once the mask is in place.      I then sprinkled a few water drops  on the sponged area and dabbed with a paper towel.

The couple and sentiment are stamped with Jet Black StaZon.

The image panel measures 3 3/4″ x 5.  This is mounted on Basic Black cardstock measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″.  The base is Pacific Point cardstock measuring 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and folded.

If you’d like to see how this card was made, check out the video in this post.

Can I Go Back?

Hi!  Today I have a card that takes me back to my childhood.    I bought this set shortly after it came out in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog and hadn’t played with it until recently (this is what happens when there are so many awesome products to play with – hard to choose!)

Dream, Silhouette Scenes, Sponging, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #2019AnnualCatalog

I loved to swing as a kid and this little girl brought back so many sweet memories of playing in the park.  I was lucky to live within walking distance of the town park where I grew up – and playing on the swings, slides and monkey bars with friends was so much fun.

For the background on this card, I sponged Crushed Curry on the bottom, followed by Rich Razzleberry and ending with Pacific Point.  Going for a setting sun type of look.

This stamp set has a coordinating set of dies – and the tree is one of the dies in the set.  For this card, it was cut from Basic Black Cardstock.  I set the tree on the sponged background to give me an idea of where to stamp the swing – then moved it before stamping.  The swing is stamped in Jet Black StazOn.  Given how big the tree and branches are, a little trimming needed to happen before attaching the image panel to the Basic Black mat.

The base for the card is Pacific Point –  5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ and folded in half.

While this stamp set and coordinating dies are carrying over to the 2020 Annual Catalog – the 10% bundle price is not.  So, if this bundle is on your list, consider picking it up now, and save 10%!

Touched by Kindness

Hi!  Today I have a card to share with you featuring the retiring Lovely is the Day and Lovely Leaves Coordinating Dies.

Lovely is the Day, Stampin' Up!, Kindness, SU!, #2019AnnualCatalog

This bundle is just stunning to work with.  I love the look of this card and that the die does not cut out completely but allows you to pop out the leaves and flowers for a more 3-D look.

I am sad that is retiring on June 2nd.  If you haven’t purchased this bundle yet, head to my On-Line store and get it today!  You won’t regret it!

This card uses two of the 2019-2021 In Colors – Terracotta Tile and Pretty Peacock.  The large flowers were colored with the Stampin’ Write markers, while the leaves and little flowers were colored with a Blender Pen and ink pad for a softer look and to add dimension to the flowers.

The sentiment, also from the set, is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.  The small strips of card stock – Gray Granite being the base and neutral, measure 1/4″ x 1″.  A rhinestone finishes the card.

You can watch this video to see how I did the card:

Dream Big

Hi!  Today I have a fun card using the retiring Over the Moon stamp set.  I’m sad to see these adorable cows retire at the end of this month.

Over the Moon, Dream, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #2019AnnualCatalog

Isn’t he cute?  Makes me smile.  This is a pretty easy card – the base is Real Red card stock measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and folded in half.  There is a Basic Black mat behind the Whisper White stamped panel.  That measures 5 5/16″ x 4 1/16″.  The Whisper White panel measures 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.

The cow is stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with Basic Black light Blends, Smoky Slate Dark Blend and Real Red Dark Blend.  The Moon is stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with Daffodil Delight Dark Blends.  The lines around the outside are hand drawn using the Basic Black marker.

If you haven’t gotten this set yet, grab it soon!  It’ll be gone on June 3rd when the new catalog goes live.

All Dressed Up

Hi!  Today I have a card for you using the gorgeous Best Dressed Designer Series Paper!

The prints in this paper make it so easy to pull together cards that are just stunning.  For this card, the paper is paired with the Peaceful Moments stamp set and the retiring Delicate Lace Dies and Stitched Labels Dies.  These die sets add the perfect touch to this card.

The sentiment is stamped in Lovely Lipstick.

For this second card,

the sentiment is from the Seriously the Best stamp set.

Both cards were made using 1 6×6″ piece of Designer Series Paper.  The first card uses a piece that is 2″ x 5 1/4″, while the second uses a piece that is 4″ x 5 1/4″.  This leaves a single strip measuring 3/4″ x 6″ that could be used on the inside of either card.
