Hi! How are you? Sorry I’ve been MIA for the past 6-7 weeks. Life threw some curve balls and I had to let my blog sit during that time. Well, I am back and I wanted to catch you up with some of the cards I’ve been making.
This first one – while it looks complicated, is so easy to do! Thanks to Sandy’s Craft Studio for this fun Angle-Cut Designer Series Paper technique.
Does this angle cut Designer Series Paper look hard? Well, I’m here to show you how easy it is to make 4 cards from one piece of 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. For this card, I used the Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from Lovely You and the flowers from Daisy Lane.
Start with a 6″ x 6″ piece of your favorite DSP and a 6 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ of coordinating cardstock.
For the DSP, make a small mark at 1 1/2″ on all 4 sides. Then, watch the video below to show you how to cut.
For the Cardstock, make your marks at 1 5/8″ and follow the same cutting instructions.
I made 2 of the card above and 2 of this card with the four pieces:
This sentiment comes from the Butterfly Wishes Stamp set and the flower from the Lovely You stamp set. The colors are Terracotta Tile, Crushed Curry and Old Olive. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso.
Here’s the video showing you how to cut the DSP and cardstock:
