Hi! Today I have a fun fold card that we did at one of the Mystery Stamp nights I host on-line. This features products from the Gilded Autumn Suite in the August-December Mini catalog.
Here is the view of the card opened:
The base of the card is Very Vanilla and measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. A piece of Cajun Craze measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″ and embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder is adhered to the base.
The accordian fold layer is a piece of Very Vanilla measuring 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 1 1/2″, 3″, 5 1/2″ and 8″.
Designer Series Paper measuring 1 1/4″ x 4″ is adhered to the first panel. Designer Series Paper measuring 2 1/4″ x 4″ (need 2) is adhered to the 3rd and 4th panels. A final strip measuring 1/2″ x 4″ is adhered to the right most edge.
A belly band is creating using a 1 1/2″ x 9″ piece of Cajun Craze. Wrap the strip around the card so that the ends meet in the front. Attach the ends to each other with a piece of Tear and Tape.
To decorate the belly band, I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. The leaves and acorn were punched from the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper.
While the card cannot stand up on its own, it is a little something different and a new fold to try.
