Three-In-One

Hi! Today I have a great way to use Designer Series Paper and such a fun look, too!

Is this set just the cutest? And you can make all 3 cards quick and easy!

What you need:

3 pieces of cardstock and/or Designer Series Paper measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″

Stack all three pieces together and cut all three together into 3 pieces. Then mix and match the pieces into 3 cards! Since all three pieces were cut together, they all fit together as well!

For these cards, I used Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock along with the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper from Sale-A-Bration (sorry – this item isn’t available, but there are still lots of other great products you can earn FREE with a $50 purchase until March 31st).

I layered these on Thick Whisper White cardstock measuring 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and folded.

To finish the cards, I colored the leaves and flowers in Crushed Curry and Garden Green markers, the sentiment in Jet Black StaZon and die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. The bee is stamped in Jet Black StaZon, die cut with coordinating die and colored with the Crushed Curry marker.

….and the Hive

Hi! Back today with another project featuring the Honey Bee Suite! This time, it is paired with the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box!

Aren’t these adorable? I got this idea from Demonstrator Doris Pichler and just had to make some! The hive fits perfectly on the sides of the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box! Cute, right?

Just stamp the hive on all 4 sides of the box before you assemble! The big bee on top is cut in half and attached with a glue dot on each side of the handle so that the recipient can still open the box.

The hive is stamped with Crushed Curry ink. The bees are stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with the Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin’ Blend. Three Hershey Nuggets or 5 Hershey Kisses fit inside. I am sure Bit ‘o Honeys will fit as well, but I didn’t have any on hand.

For the Love of Honey

Hi! Welcome to the New Occasions Catalog! I LOVE this catalog! So many great products and loaded with inspiration!

I’ll admit, I wasn’t in love with this suite when I first skimmed through the catalog, but after seeing a few creations, I knew I had to get it. On Tuesday, I shared this bundle in my Facebook Live for these two cards.

This layout may look familiar as I did share it last year during Sale-A-Bration featuring the Butterfly Designer Series Paper. I couldn’t resist, since I had a few scraps laying on my table to make it again with this new suite. The Designer Series Paper is a Sale-A-Bration item that you can earn FREE when making a $50 minimum purchase (prior to S/H and tax) in my on-line store. The Bee is stamped in StaZon Jet Black ink and die cut using the coordinating dies. I used Daffodil Delight Dard Stampin’ Blend to color the bee and then Wink of Stella Clear on the wings. The sentiment is from the set as well – and punched using the Classic Label Punch.

For this card, I used a few more of the dies to cut the honeycomb, hive and bees. Crushed Curry Ink, JetBlack StaZon and the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend are my colors.
