Happy Easter!

This adorable bunny is hopping down the bunny trail to wish you a Happy Easter!  If you didn’t get a chance to grab him before the punch went on back order, have no fear, he is carrying over to the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog!

Easter Bunny, Easter, Stampin' Up!, #JanAprilMini2023

Isn’t he so cute?  For this card, I paired him with the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper in the January-April Mini as well as the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper from the On-Line Exclusives.  These paper packs are perfect for spring cards.

The bunny is stamped in Jet Black StaZon ink and colored with Watercolor Pencils – Early Espresso for the body and Flirty Flamingo for the nose and ears.  A blender pen is used to blend the pencil.   The butterfly is a mix of Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight.

The base of the card is Sweet Sorbet measuring 5 1/2″ x 7″, scored at 2 3/4″ to form the front panel.  A layer of Blushing Bride card stock measuring 2 5/8″ x 5 3/8″ is attached to the front panel and a piece measuring 1 3/8″ x 5 3/8″, is adhered to the inside back panel on the right hand side.  The Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper is used on the front panel and measures 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ while the Country Gingham DSP measures 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ and is placed on the inside back panel on the right hand side.

The bunny panel measures 3″ x 3″, and is matted on a piece of Sweet Sorbet measuring 3 1/8″ x 3 1/8″.   The grass is stamped in Jet Black StaZon and colored with the Garden Green Watercolor Pencil.

Welcome Easter

Hi!  Today I have a few Easter projects to share with you featuring the Welcome Easter Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog.

Easter, Treat Holders, Welcome Easter, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #2020Occasions

I love this set!  It is perfect for Easter but could also be used for welcoming little ones or baby showers.  I also think these would be cute for just because cards.  What do you think?

Let me take you through all 3 projects:

Easter, Welcome Easter, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #2020Occasions

The Easter Card uses Crumb Cake for a base – 4 1/4″ x  11″ scored at 5 1/2″ and folded in half.  The Designer Paper is from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Stack.  The bunny is stamped in Jet Black StaZon and colored with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen.

This little Easter Basket is adorable and perfect for holding special treats.  And you won’t believe how easy it is to make!

Base: Calypso Coral 6″ x 6″ – score at 2″ and 4″ on both sides.   Cut in on two opposite sides to make tabs.

Designer Series Paper – 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ squares – need 4  – Subtles Designer Series 6″ x 6″ stack.  Adhere these on the 4 corners.

Handle – Base – Calypso Coral – 3/4″ x 6″.   Designer Series Paper:  1/2″ x 6″.   Attach the handle to the two side panels with Tear and Tape prior to pulling up the corner squares to make the sides.

Easter, Treat holder, Baby Shower Favor, Stampin' Up!, SU!, #2020Occasions

I saw this done by Dawn Griffith and had to create one – they are just too cute!  This Triangle Treat Box has a few special scores, but is still pretty easy to do:

Base – 7″ x 9 3/4″ of Pool Party Cardstock.  Score the 9 3/3″ side at 1 3/4″, 4 1/4″ and 7 1/4″.   Score the 7″ side at 2″ and 5″.

Designer Series Paper – (1) piece measuring  1 1/2″ x 2 3/4″, (1) piece measuring 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ and (2) pieces measuring 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″

A Sketch Challenge

Hi.  Today I am playing along with this week’s Freshly Made Sketch #282.

Stampin' Up! SU! Basket Bunch, Little Cuties

For this card, I used the little chick from the Basket Bunch set and the coordinating dies to cut him out.  He is colored with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin pie markers.  The sentiment is from the Little Cuties stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Basket Bunch, Weather Together, SU!

For this one, I used the daffodil flower from the Basket Bunch set.  The sentiment is from Weather Together.  I chose to stamp the sentiment around the outside for this one.  The smallest and largest Square Stitched Framelits were used to die cut the squares.  The flowers are Daffodil Delight and the background is Soft Suede.

Lastly, I made this one:Stampin' Up! SU! Basket Bunch, That's The Tag

This one uses the flower from Basket Bunch and the sentiment from That’s The Tag.  I distressed the edges of the Island Indigo to give a little dimension to the panel.  The base and flowers are Soft Sky.

All 3 cards are 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 – a fun size to play with from the traditional A2 size.

What’s the last non-traditional size card you made?
