Graduation Thank You

Hi!  Today I have the thank you cards I made for my daughter to thank those who celebrated her graduation from High School.

Graduation, Thank You, Beautiful You, Stampin' Up!, SU!

I am pretty happy with how they turned out.  The girl is stamped from the Beautiful You stamp set (and I feel is fitting since my daughter is also a dancer).  The dress is colored with the Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends markers.  The legs and arms with the Ivory Stampin’ Blends marker.

The graduation cap is made from Cherry Cobbler card stock.   A little bit of Crushed Curry baker’s twine is used to make the tassle and that is attached using a brad.

The sentiment is from the A Big Thank You stamp set.  As I was making quite a few of these, I used the Stamparatus to stamp the girl and the sentiment.  It makes mass producing a breeze.

The card is finished with a piece of retired Design Series Paper from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper stack.

For the Graduate

Hi!  It is hard for me to believe that my oldest is graduating in a few short weeks from High School.  I’ve been busy working on her invitations but took a little break yesterday to make a graduation card featuring her school colors.  I LOVE it!!

Graduation, Punch Art, Large Numbers, Stampin' Up!, SU!, Beautiful Bouquet

I had seen the Impossible Fold card created by Dawn Griffith and thought it would be perfect for a graduation card.  I must say, I am sorry to see the Large Number dies and stamp set retiring this month.  If you do not have these (at least the dies) add them to your list! Better yet – get them here now!    They are great not only for graduation, but birthday, anniversary, and even New Years cards.  They are also great for scrapbooking layouts.

For this card, I used Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Basic Black and Whisper White for my color scheme.  The “1” is a piece of printer paper rolled up and tied with retired Cherry Cobbler baker’s twine.  The sentiment is from Beautiful Boutique and is stamped in Cherry Cobbler.  The Graduation hat is made using Basic Black cardstock.   I hope her friends will like them!

Tune in to my Tuesday’s with Teresa Facebook Live on May 8 at 7:30pm EST to see just how to make this fun card!
